Job Description
What you will do
Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Technical Architect for our Video Management Software Solutions team based in Fishers IN which is near Indianapolis. You will have the opportunity to lead the design and architecture of cuttingedge enterpriseclass video management systems with focus on the Exacq product suite. If you enjoy working with new technologies and enhancing product capabilities to exceed enterprise requirements then this could be your next impactful role! Since this is an onsite position you must be commuting distance to our Fishers IN office or able and willing to relocate.
How you will do it
Design and maintain a scalable highperformance video management software solutions that integrate seamlessly with various security technologies including Access Control.
Review and enhance the architecture and framework design of VMS solutions ensuring they support largescale enterpriselevel deployments.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive product innovation and integration across different security platforms including access control intrusion detection and video surveillance.
Architect solutions that prioritize interoperability scalability and user experience while maintaining compliance with key industry standards such as CJIS NIST and GDPR.
Leverage the latest advancements in AI machine learning and computer vision to enhance video analytics and surveillance capabilities.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams guiding them through complex problemsolving scenarios and product development cycles.
Manage product roadmaps ensuring timely delivery of highquality software solutions that align with business goals and customer expectations.
Develop and enforce best practices for software development security and data management adhering to strict compliance and cybersecurity frameworks.
What you will need
Required
Minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
10 years in software engineering with a focus on AIdriven innovations cloud architecture and enterprise security solutions.
Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable onprem & cloudnative microservicesdriven architectures.
Strong expertise in AI machine learning deep learning computer vision and NLP technologies.
Experience video management software platforms.
Demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional teams and manage largescale software development projects.
