You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailPerforms a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols for nuclear medicine. Functions as the first line interface with the patient in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
They are responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of nuclear medicine.
Preparing administering and measuring of radioactive isotopes in diagnostic and tracer studies. Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care of all age groups. Performs and assists within nuclear medicine studies. Responsible for patient safety techniques and policies in the use and disposal of radioactive materials. Measures radioactivity using Geiger counters scalers and scintillation detectors. Calibrates equipment.
ARRT certification or NMTCB
CPR
