THIS IS A NONCAREER APPOINTMENT THAT IS LIMITED TO 129 HOURS PER MONTH AND 719 HOURS PER APPOINTMENT Multiple vacancies may be filled utilizing this posting.
At the direction of the Supervisor the Welcome Center Lead Worker or other permanent Welcome Center / MDOT Staff act as a direct representative of the State of Michigan to the traveling public. As a travel counselor provide and distribute literature information and guidance on travel and vacation activities within the state. Assist in preparing literature displays in the center.
