Job Description

Work Flexibility: Onsite

Schedule: Monday Friday 2:30pm 10:30pm OT as needed.

What you will do:

The Manufacturing Section Leader will be responsible for leading and managing a team of manufacturing associates. They will also be responsible for managing improving and reporting out on their sections performance related to production quality safety and recognition.

  • Attend participate and deliver in performance metrics review meetings ensuring accountability of associates.
  • Escalate issues requiring additional resources to manufacturing leadership and track progress to the manufacturing schedule adjusting labor and staffing levels as necessary.
  • Lead problemsolving/root cause investigations and implement process improvements using the Stryker Production System (SPS) principles.
  • Perform inprocess quality checks and communicate quality issues to relevant departments; lead nonconformance investigations through the quality management system.
  • Document all safety incidents and observations in the SAP system and proactively drive improvements in the work environment.
  • Ensure training timeliness and adherence to company policies managing team performance through regular reviews.
  • Meet work schedule and overtime requirements including weekends while ensuring team performance aligns with manufacturing goals.
  • Utilize tools like 6S line balancing and process waste removal to enhance operational efficiency.

What you need:

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 years experience in a Manufacturing cGMP environment or comparable experience

Preferred

  • Associates or Bachelors degree
  • Previous people management experience
