Quinnipiac University seeks an Assistant Coach Womens Basketball to assist the Head Coach with program management including coaching administration coordination and recruitment of a collegiate Womens Basketball program. This position will serve as the recruiting coordinator for the womens basketball program and will also focus on the total development of the basketball studentathlete.

Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Coach in managing and directing the basketball program
Assist with team planning including training coaching competing and scheduling
Lead the Player Development Program for each studentathlete
Manage and coordinate all aspects of recruiting evaluations both domestically and internationally
Maintain adherence and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations and university policies
Other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree required
Experience may substitute for some of the above education
Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with previous successful Womens basketball playing and/or coaching experience at the college level
Experience in recruiting is strongly preferred
Experience with the administration and coordination of a collegiate Womens basketball program which focuses on the total development of the basketball studentathlete is preferred
Proven aptitude for coaching as illustrated by a strong work ethic organizational skills computer skills and the ability to interact professionally within the department the campus and the national basketball community
Ability to manage a 23 hour practice
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to work nights and weekends
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds
