Engineering Intern (Entry Level Intern)

Brown Inc. has a career opportunity available for a motivated Engineering Intern (Mechanical Electrical Aerospace or similar Degrees). Our three divisions Engineering and Test Technical Services and Mission Systems make DTB a diverse and interesting place to work.
Responsibilities included but are not limited to:
- Set up and run test support systems and equipment for a variety of structural and dynamics testing including but not limited to vibration transportation shock noise impact drop handling and acceleration. Collection of data utilizing vibration control systems thermocouples and accelerators.
- Support of various test setups
- Troubleshooting test setups
- Operate Thermal Chambers.
- Electrical setups.
- Additional responsibilities may be added.
In this role you will need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in a college or university
- Must have strong computer skills (CAD MS Office etc. a plus.
- Must have mechanical aptitude.
- Computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; with a focus on customer service.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must pay attention to detail.
- Must work in a team environment and be a team player.
- Must be able to function in a fastpaced environment with deadlines.
- Understanding of Blueprints/Drawings as well as Military Aerospace and Commercial Standards a plus.
