Job Description

Job Description:
The Account Manager is a key customerfacing strategy and sales role for the IronConnect team. This position requires exceptional relationship management skills strategic planning ability effective time management skills and outstanding communication. The primary functions of this role are to optimize site engagement and utilization of the platform to drive renewals as well as identifying upsell opportunities as new products/technology are rolled out. This role will build and maintain relationships with our existing clients to maximize the growth of IronConnects software and services revenue within all existing customer accounts.

Responsibilities:
The Account Manager is responsible for site engagement platform utilization and upselling sales across assigned IronConnect accounts. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Deepen relationships with existing accounts ensuring site engagement and utilization to drive renewals.
  • Develop relationships with new prospects and generate new business to meet and exceed revenue expectations.
  • Strategize with sales team to segment customer base and identify likely upsell opportunities for new technology rollouts.
  • Work in a collaborative manner within the entire IronConnect sales team and communicate with management on all aspects of current account renewals new business leads and upsell opportunities.
  • Travel to visit existing customers and prospects six to eight weeks per year.

Required Qualifications:
  • BA or BS from accredited university or equivalent business experience.
  • 1 years of Sales or Client Support/Relations experience preferably in a software (SaaS) environment is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong productive relationships.
  • Have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.
  • Need to be able to successfully navigate complex organizations and close incremental opportunities with assigned accounts.
  • Competitive spirit and ability to thrive in an everchanging fastpaced environment.
  • Creative problem solver to help prospects solve their business needs.
