Job Description

Description:Evaluate and maintain plans for all students identified as ELL. Teacher willcoordinate and administer the mandated WIDA WAPT Screener. Plan andsupport students within the classroom and out of the classroom based on studentneeds. Co plan with teachers meet with parents and attend meetings as position is district wide and will work with students grades prekgrade Summary:The ESOL Teacher at Newport School District is responsible for providing highquality English language instruction to nonnative English speakers enabling them to develop strong communication skills and successfully integrate into the school community and broader society. As an ESOL teacher you will work closely with students parents and fellow educators to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes language acquisition and cultural understanding. Your role will involve designing and implementing effective instructional strategies assessing student progress and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the academic and personal growth of English language :QUALIFICATIONS:1.
