Are you passionate about advancing health equity and shaping policy that impacts the lives of Oregonians Join our team as the leader of the Equity and Policy Section in the Oregon Health Authoritys Equity and Inclusion Division. In this role youll manage a team of remarkable talent and broad diversity consisting of 32 individuals across seven units taking the lead on critical initiatives to eliminate health inequities improve outcomes for all people living in Oregon and build partnerships across the state. Youll have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse partners including community groups culturally specific providers healthcare organizations and policymakers to drive real change. As the Equity and Policy Section Director youll also play a key role in shaping our divisions strategic direction and ensuring that our work is accountable innovative and impactful.

What youll do:

  • Lead a team focused on statewide programs including legislative programs equity initiatives and oversight committees.

  • Work closely with partners across sectors to create and implement policies that reduce health inequities.

  • Engage with communities most affected by inequities helping to build capacity and foster collaboration.

  • Oversee budgets legislative processes and reporting ensuring transparency and accountability.

  • Guide and influence the development of key policy decisions that affect health outcomes for all Oregonians.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to a larger group of health care staff dedicated to health equity.
