The opportunity

The EYParthenon team in Greece sits within Strategy and Transactions team of Central Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Asia (CESA) and is experiencing strong growth resulting in opportunities for talented and ambitious individuals looking to develop a career as strategy consultants focused on the energy sector.

Due to our rapid expansion we are now looking for Energy Strategy Consultants / Senior Consultants to join our team in Athens. Theyll be a part of a collaborative team that applies the latest thinking research analytics and methodologies to help transform clients businesses and solve complex business matters driving change for tomorrows working world. Your key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement innovative energy strategies that drive sustainable growth and operational efficiency
• Conduct comprehensive market analysis and research to identify trends opportunities and challenges within the energy sector (electricity oil and gas RES energy storage alternative fuels CCS etc.
• Participate in Business Development (BD) activities including client pitches and energy sector market development studies/analysis (research and data analysis)
• Deliver highquality consulting services ensuring alignment with client objectives and EY Parthenon standards
• Develop data/financial models and perform quantitative analysis to support strategic recommendations
• Gradually facilitate workshops and presentations to communicate findings and strategies to stakeholders at all levels
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
• Stay abreast of industry developments regulatory changes and technological advancements to provide informed insights

Skills & Attributes for Success

To qualify for the role you must have

• Masters degree in Business Economics Finance Engineering or a related field; specialization in the energy sector will be considered a strong asset
• 14 years of proven experience:
  • Management/strategy consulting particularly within the energy sector with a strong understanding of energy markets and regulatory frameworks and/or
  • energy industry (generation energy management retail energy economics)
• Understanding of energy market developments dynamics and key trends in Greece
• Understanding of EU decarbonization pathways and policies
• Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable strategies
• Ability to research digest and analyze large amounts of information producing high quality output in the form of reports & presentations to senior executives and stakeholders in a clear compelling manner
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively
• Proficiency in data/financial modeling and quantitative analysis tools
• A proactive and resultsoriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fastpaced environment
• Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to work autonomously and exhibit a high degree of agility Excellent written and verbal communication both in Greek and English
• Good use of MS office (excel powerpoint project); experience in data analytics tools will be considered a strong advantage
