Job Description
Service Engineer / Service Technician required to join an automated machinery manufacturer.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician will need to live in or around Sheffield be willingcover UK wide and must have electromechanical service & maintenance experience.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician willcarry out service installation and breakdown visits on a wide range ofautomatedmachinery similar to packaging equipment.

Role
Carry out preplanned Service Installation and Breakdown visits on a wide range ofautomatedmachinery electromechanical equipment.
Liaise with various engineering departments
Perform preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise machine
Provide onsite training and service support to customers
Diagnosing and repairing technical issues on electromechanical machinery
Remotely based in or around Sheffield covering UK wide
Full product training provided
Requirements:
Experience as a Service Engineer Service Technician Systems Engineer Electrical Engineer or similar maintenance role.
Service / maintenance background electro mechanical experience
Prior knowledge of automated machinery packaging machinery or similar electromechanical equipment is beneficial
Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification Apprentice trained NVQ City & Guilds HNC HND or would be advantageous.
Full UK driving license.
Flexible for overtime/part of the oncall rota.
