Job Information:

Summary:

Provides child development evaluation services.

Determines goals and plans of treatment.

Administers developmental intervention programming.

Position Responsibilities:

Demonstrates comprehensive evaluation skills including evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and modifies plan as appropriate.

Consults with medical professional ancillary professionals and other team members/supervisors to provide optimum quality care and effective operations.

Effectively communicates with family in providing education strategies and literature in accordance with age physical condition developmental level and cultural needs.

Maintains and completes evaluations child records reports and all written documentation effectively and in a timely manner in accordance with regulatory and departmental guidelines.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:

Minimum one year documented professional experience with individuals from birth to five years who have developmental delays and disabilities.

Required Education:

Minimum Bachelors degree in early childhood education and/or special education.

Training/Certifications/Licensure:

NJ Dept. of Education Certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities.

Coursework in infant and toddler or early childhood development.

Valid drivers license may be required.
