ARSIEM is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. This position will support one of our government clients in Linthicum MD.
Responsibilities
- Develop analytics pulling data from multiple cyber sources.
- Develop prototypes answering new questions as well as providing better answers to existing questions.
- Develop new ways to represent the data using data science methods and automate analytic processes using machine learning frameworks.
- Work directly with the customer in a highly collaborative integrated environment.
- Design develop test deploy and document big data cloud computing workflows.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or Masters degree plus 6 years of relevant experience.
- For individuals with indepth experience clearly related to the position an associates degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or a high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered.
- Computer Science (CS) degree or related field
- Strong Java skills
- Customer GHOSTMACHINE analytic development
- Experience with Hadoop (MapReduce & Accumulo)
- Experience with software configuration using Gitlab Git Gitflo and Nexus
- Experience with Linux
Preferred Qualifications
- Some networking knowledge
- Familiarity with customer corporate tools such as DX
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
- Formal or informal leadership experience
$185000 $207000 a year
The ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) job responsibilities education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other laws.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role If you do ARSIEM has a way for you to earn a bonus through our referral program for persons presenting NEW (not in our resume database) candidates who are successfully placed on one of our projects. The bonus for this position is $10000 and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we can place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches six months of employment.
