Location:Ancaster ON (onsite)

As our next Electrician youll be at the forefront of designing producing and maintaining electrical power and distribution systems controls and machine safety. Your expertise in electrical engineering will be crucial in driving our success and pushing the boundaries of whats possible.

What Youll Be Doing:
- Ensure adherence to ISO 45001 ISO 14001 IATF 16949 ISO 9001 and all Stackpole International policies and industry standards.
- Provide design production and documentation developments for electrical power and distribution systems controls and machine safety.
- Create and maintain documentation for new and existing assembly lines.
- Create and update electrical schematics for new and current projects.
- Select and size components.
- Design safety diagrams panel and machine layouts and pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
- Design and document electrical automation systems.
- Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with suppliers to specify proper components.
- Create modify and maintain electrical build standards.
- Support machine build activities.
- Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic circuits.
- Work closely with controls technicians during setup and development of PLC robots and vision systems
What Were Looking For:
- Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred.
- Proficiency in producing electrical schematic drawings.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal at all levels of the organization.
- Critical thinking to identify issues present solutions and follow through to ensure completion.
- Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadline requirements.
- Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
- Very good knowledge and understanding of basic and advanced control components like PLC panel and field I/O modules VFDs servo systems etc.
- Understanding of safety circuits and requirements including networked safety.
- Familiarity with controls networks (Ethernet/IP EtherCat I/O link ASi etc..
- Understanding of electrical code components and wire sizing.
