The role is responsible for the assessment improvement and governance of quality and ongoing fitnessforpurpose of data ensuring adequate data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes. Working under limited supervision this job uses knowledge of the endtoend master data processes and flows to design and implement master data management solutions in order to maintain a common firmwide data standard. This job reviews the work of lower level team members and partners with the team to implement new processes and methodologies as needed.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Able to use business rules to create data quality rules for in data quality tools
• Able to design recommend and create data quality observability / monitoring dashboards and reports
• Analyse data for compliance to design specification (sourcetotarget) and expected/anticipated behaviours identifying quality issues and recommending solutions.
• Strong SQL background and knowledge of other data manipulation programming languages
• Ability to assist with validation of data quality rules with engineering and business stakeholders
• Documenting processes and maintaining data records.
• Adhering to best practices in data analysis and collection.
• Keeping abreast of developments and trends in data quality analysis
• Daily and Weekly Status Reporting
• Continuous Improvement in the Data Quality functional aspects
• Demonstrate proficiency and experience with data quality function

Position Summary: Describe below the primary purpose and function of this job

Within the Enterprise AI Center of Excellence (AI COE) the AI Governance and Risk Specialist is responsible for assisting with the design and implementation of the AI governance framework for TIAA and its affiliates. This AI Governance and Risk Specialist is required to partner with stakeholders across disciplines to design and deliver process procedures and control improvements that enable TIAA to leverage AI responsibly to drive business value and adoption.

In this role the AI Governance and Risk Specialist will be responsible for participating in the design and deployment of the AI governance framework including Responsible AI Policy Standards Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines. The individual will participate in the resolution of process gaps and design solutions to problems that prevent TIAA from enabling AI solutions at scale. The AI Governance and Risk Specialist will play a key role in ensuring submitted use cases adhere to Responsible AI requirements and that necessary control partners are engaged to review.

• Participate in development and implementation of AI governance framework.
• Participate in the design and implementation of controls to address AI risk
• Facilitate risk assessments for AI engagements to the Responsible use of AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate AI governance principles in existing processes and procedures.
• Stay abreast of global AI governance trends regulations and best practices.
• Provide training guidance and communications to staff on AI governance matters.
• Maintain AI COE process and procedure documentation
