You will be contacted directly by Ardent Health after applying to this of Texas (UT) at Tyler School of Medicine is seeking a Full Time Trauma Physician to join the fast growing family of UT Health East Texas hospitals and the Position:Part of a 2 person Trauma Surgery TeamLvl 1 Trauma CenterEMR: EPICCall 1:6Responsibilities include:All aspects of a highfunctioning Level 1 Trauma Center including Surgical Critical CareMedical Education including ResidentsRequirements include:MD or DO: Boardcertified or boardeligible candidates requiredGeneral Surgery Residency completion required from an accredited ACGME programFellowship in Surgical Critical Care or Trauma completion required from an accredited program featuring certification in Critical CareFellowship in Acute Care Surgery preferredThe trauma / critical care service will cover day and night shifts 365 days a year for these highvolume and highacuity hospitals.
