Job Description & Summary

At PwC our people in legal services offer comprehensive legal solutions and advice to internal stakeholders and clients maintaining compliance with regulations and minimising legal risks. These individuals provide strategic guidance and support across various industries.

In commercial law and regulatory at PwC you will advise on regulatory and public policy relating to PwCs commercial activities; responding to inquiries or investigations launched by regulators; understanding the legal impact on the business of regulatory directives and orders; preparing commercial partners and staff for public enquiries and hearings.

As a Senior Associate in the legal team you will provide highquality legal advice and support to the business on a range of corporate/commercial matters as well as regulatory projects. Your main responsibilities will include:

Drafting reviewing and negotiating complex contracts and agreements covering areas such as mergers and acquisitions joint ventures outsourcing licensing distribution procurement and data protection.

Advising on corporate governance compliance and regulatory issues such as company law antitrust antibribery sanctions and environmental social and governance (ESG) matters.

Assist on due diligence disclosure and closing processes for corporate transactions and projects.

Researching and monitoring legal and regulatory developments and trends that may impact the business and providing updates and guidance to the legal team and the business units.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Bilingual fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written) is essential.

A law degree and a current practicing certificate in the jurisdiction of qualification.

At least 34 years of postqualification experience in corporate and commercial law preferably in a reputable law firm.

Experience in advising on regulatory projects and initiatives.

Excellent drafting negotiation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner.

Strong analytical problemsolving with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A high level of professionalism integrity and ethical standards.
