In physical security management at PwC you will focus on confirming the safety and protection of people assets and information through the implementation and management of physical security measures. JOB DESCRIPTION SECURITY MANAGER

Position: Security Manager Department: Internal Firm Services

Location: Kolkata & Hyderabad

Reporting To: Senior Manager Security

Employment Type: Fulltime Job Summary:

The Security Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees visitors and company assets developing and implementing security protocols managing transport and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. A strong background in operations is essential to optimize processes manage teams and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

1. Security & Surveillance:

a) Develop and implement security strategies policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff visitors and assets.

b) Manage a team of security personnel including recruitment training scheduling and performance evaluations.

c) Monitor surveillance systems alarms and access control systems.

d) Women safety

2. Emergency Response & Incident Handling:

a) Respond promptly to security incidents alarms or emergencies.

b) Assist in investigations and report any suspicious activities.

c) Coordinate with law enforcement emergency services and internal stakeholders during crises.

3. Asset Protection & Risk Management:

a) Ensure protection of company assets including physical and intellectual property.

b) Identify potential security risks and recommend corrective measures.

c) Enforce company policies on visitor management and employee conduct.

4. Compliance & Documentation:

(a) Maintain accurate records of security incidents visitor logs and access control.

(b) Ensure compliance with corporate security policies and legal regulations.

(c) Conduct security awareness training for employees as needed.

5. Transport Services

a) Manage transport services in coordination with the transport team.

b) Ensure safety of women employees and implementing safety protocols as per policy.

c) Manage escort roaster

6. Operations

(a) Collaborate with other departments to align transport and security operations with overall organizational goals.

(b) Lead operational improvement initiatives to enhance safety reduce costs and improve service delivery.

(c) Monitor KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management.

(d) Ensure full compliance with local regional and national regulations including health and safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

a) Preferably from Army Background.

b) Degree in business administration Security Certifications (like CPP PCI CFE) or a related field.

c) Minimum 5 years of experience in security and transport management with a strong background in operations.

d) Proven experience leading teams and managing largescale security or transport projects.

e) Excellent leadership organizational and problemsolving skills.

f) Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
