  • 35 hours per week

  • Location: Negotiable we have offices right across NSW and encourage you to submit your application regardless of location
  • Clerk Grade 7/8 Salary from $110266.00 plus super and leave loading

About the role

The Project Officer performs project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives of the Legal Branch.

We are looking for an individual who can:

  • Proactively identify system and process opportunities develop and maintain business support systems within timeframes and budget and instigate timely and effective troubleshooting actions as required
  • Apply knowledge of IT and Legal systems to maintain and improve the Legal Branchs operational and knowledge management platforms and practices
  • Provide a range of project management and support services including preparation of reports and briefs coordinating resources maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time on budget to quality standards and within agreed scope in line with established agency project management methodology
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information and contribute to the achievement of project outcomes
  • Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans
  • Source collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables

About You

To be successful in this role our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience in project management including project tracking issue and risk management and stakeholder management
  • A team player who can engage with members of the Branch and stakeholders to identify solutions and achieve outcomes
  • An understanding of knowledge management and how it can be applied to improve information management
  • Experience managing Microsoft systems including administrative roles in Teams creating and updating SharePoint pages and not required but highly valued experience using Dataverse
  • An understanding of the operational needs of a Legal team is highly valued
