Assist oversee and improve the effectiveness of all product lines by auditing commercial and residential truckrouted services in designated service area to improve routing time collect container weights verify customer contract information and ensure route safety efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel in trucks with drivers or follow trucks with service vehicle to analyze various routes in
each product line for all branches in assigned branch.
- Check route sheets for accuracy.
- Analyze services performed vs. billing accurate costs of accounts and conformity between actual
services.
- Evaluate equipment productivity and safety of the routes.
- Work with Operations team to ensure proper communication regarding routes are given to
the drivers.
- Verify container sizes numbers weights contents of material and number of days of service.
- Provide suggestions on improving route stops and efficiency.
- Assist branch/region personnel in the collection of data needed for acquisitions or divestitures.
- Conform in all respects with applicable federal state/provincial and local laws regulations ordinances and
other orders and to all company policies procedures and directives from supervisors.
- Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned. As assigned by General Manager.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in Public or Private University or College perusing Associates or Bachelors Degree required.
Prior customer service & logistical preferred but not required.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications specifically thorough knowledge of Excel
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Ability to communicate in writing and verbally with others
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and apply to job Division Route Auditor 2
- Ability to operate GIS software and Trimble device
- Sitting is required a majority of the time due to riding with the drivers or driving.
- Work in motor vehicle traffic conditions.
- Travel required may travel up to 80 of the time overnight travel may be required.
- Early morning hours and/or varying shifts worked may be required
Physical/Mental Demands
- Ability to sit use hands and fingers reach stoop kneel crouch stand climb talk and hear
- Sitting is required a majority of the time due to riding with the drivers or driving.
Working Conditions
- Must provide own transportation however mileage reimbursement will be offered based upon Federal Mileage Reimbursement guidelines.
- Work environment is usually loud.
- Frequently exposed to loud noise humidity hot and cold weather conditions moving mechanical
parts vibration toxic and caustic chemicals fumes and airborne particles
- Occasionally work in high precarious places.
