Job Overview

As the Sales Development Representative at Contextual AI youll be the driving force behind our inbound strategy. Working directly with the Head of Business Development and marketing team youll capture and qualify opportunities while building the foundation for our companys continued growth.

This pivotal role is the beginning of a customerfacing sales career at Contextual AI. Youll implement and refine our sales playbook while managing inbound inquiries and supporting events. Your ability to establish positive relationships with prospects will be essential as you qualify and prioritize opportunities at the top of our sales funnel.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment demonstrates excellent communication skills and shows a genuine passion for connecting innovative AI solutions with businesses that can benefit from them. What youll do:

  • Generate pipeline through converting & qualifying inbound leads into opportunities
  • Manage a high volume of inbound leads while supporting various marketing events
  • Uncover business initiatives through sales discovery
  • Researching and understanding various lines of business and personas
  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility as part of an evergrowing sales organization
  • Achieve & exceed activity targets (KPIs) to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals
  • Collaborate with the Head of Business Development to develop inbound strategy playbook and process
  • Work crossfunctionally with marketing solutions product operations and sales to accelerate pipeline generation

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from a fouryear university
  • Teamfirst mindset with demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Exceptional time management skills & ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage in conversational discovery
  • Curiosity and passion for technology specifically AI
  • Selfstarter who is resourceful disciplined and collaborative
  • Desire to work in a fastpaced everevolving startup environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 months experience in sales marketing or customer service role
  • Startup AI or SaaS experience is a plus
  • Experience engaging with customers and resolving challenges efficiently
  • Proven track record of success in a performancedriven role
  • Fluent with Salesforce Gong/Outreach/SalesLoft Apollo/Zoominfo LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Google Suite

Location: West Coast (preferred Bay Area)

Base Salary Range: $65000 equity benefits (actual compensation will be determined based on experience location and other factors permitted by law). The total compensation package for this position may also include a ontarget earnings annual performance bonus stock benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
