Royal Sydney one of Australias most prominent social and sporting institutions is a private members club proudly hosting a number of world class sporting events including hosting the Australian Open on 15 previous occasions. World renowned architect Gil Hanse has delivered a fresh innovative course design that will reflect our original native heathland charm and ensures 2025 will be an exciting and historic time for golf with the recent reopen of the 18hole Bay Course.
The Role
Were looking for a friendly proactive team player to deliver outstanding service to our members by creating a welcoming retail experience. In addition you will drive sales contribute to smooth operations in the proshop and maintain high standards of presentation in the proshop.
This is a parttime role offering 2025 hours per week with availability required for weekdays weekends and public holidays. Shifts can range between 5:30am starts to 6:00pm finishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to members and guests
- Assist with purchasing stock control and POS operations
- Maintain Proshop and storage areas tidy and organised at all times
- Ensure Club policies and dress codes are followed including mobile usage and guest signins
- Keep management updated with order requests unpacking orders received logging invoices through POS to be charged to member accounts
- Assist management with quarterly stocktakes
- Stay uptodate with daily events/fixtures
What Were Looking For
- Retail experience (sports/golf a bonus)
- Strong knowledge of golf etiquette and rules
- A passion for delivering toptier member service
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Friendly positive and energetic disposition with exceptional presentation standards

- The position pays $26.71 per hour plus penalty rates on weekends.
