Position Overview: The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for ensuring world class customer service by providing assistance to both internal and external customers by phone and email and accurately processing order information in a timely manner. This position is also responsible for communicating and coordinating with other departments in order to fulfill customer needs through excellent standards of service while executing a high level of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for receiving entering shipping printing and confirming orders received via email and fax nationwide including Canada.
- Distributing orders to warehouse.
- Ensures customer specific pricing is accurate
- Handles damaged material claims including material gathering crediting or reshipping product and adjusting carrier invoicing.
- Verifies and maintains system pricing
- Responds and follows up with customers on inquiries related to products pricing inventory and schematics.
- Transferring calls to other departments including sales team and marketing as appropriate
- Entering freight and shipment tracking information into system.
- Creating bills of lading (BOL) on shipments when required
- Forecast gather input and coordinate inventory activity data to accurately reflect product movement and ensures product availability for future orders/shipments.
- Tracking back orders and processing as stock becomes available
- Compiles and sends invoices to customer via email fax and mail.
- Manages product returns and creates call tags when needed
- Processing product returns when needed
- Files customer service related records in a timely manner
- Provide backup support for other customer service territories
Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years of related experience in a customer service/shipping environment
- Experience in SAP preferred but not required
- Strong phone etiquette
