Sentara Medical Group has an employment position available for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join SentaraInpatient Behavioral HealthSpecialists located inHarrisonburg VA. Nicknamed The Friendly City Harrisonburg is surrounded by some of the most spectacular mountain ranges and outdoor recreation in Virginia and is only 2 hours from Washington DC.
Position Highlights:
- Team of 2 MDs 1 NP
- Monday Friday; 8:00a5:00p
- 100 Inpatient 20 bed unit ages 18
- Partner with Physicians for initial assessments monitor daily progress and discharges
- Provide medication management and psychotherapy when appropriate
- Partner with care coordination teams families and patients
- Assess and manage crisis situations
- No Call or Weekends
