Job Description
Midland University a small private fouryear college in Fremont Nebraska (just outside of metro Omaha) seeks an exceptional adjunct faculty member to teach our Zoology course in an inperson format. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering inperson class activities developing engaging online materials and assessments providing timely feedback on written assignments responding to student inquiries within 24 hours and meeting with them individually as needed. Courses are offered in 16week terms. Term begins August 25 2025. This 4credit course is scheduled oncampus for a theory and lab section. Open to a conversation on the scheduled time of course offerings.
Qualifications:
A masters degree in Biology or a closely related field (Doctorate preferred)
A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience teaching at the college level or teaching/ training adults is highly preferred

An ability to work with diverse student populations
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to foster a collegial work environment that encourages change and innovation and an ability to interact effectively and work productively cooperatively and collaboratively with a variety of individuals and groups
