Company:
Boeing Distribution Inc.Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to support the Motor Freight team based out of Coppell TX.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
Boeing Knowledge
Knowledge of Boeings organizations processes program plans policies and procedures and products required to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation.
Carrier Knowledge
Knowledge of United Parcel Service (UPS) Federal Express DHL and Domestic and International Express Mail processes.
Packaging Procedures
Knowledge of packaging procedures for chemicals airplane parts or documents.
Information Retention Skills
Ability to gather retain and recall a variety of facts and data in written and/or verbal form for the achievement of work tasks and duties.
Operating Proc/Mat Handling
Knowledge of operating procedures for packaging and material handling equipment (e.g. pallet jacks walking stackers carts dollies box tapers).
Systems Thinking
Ability to understand the big picture and the interrelationships of all positions and activities in the system including the impact of changes in one area on another area. This includes the ability to see and understand the interrelationships between components of systems and plans anticipate future events and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.
Warehouse Operations
General knowledge of transportation shipping receiving and storage procedures to understand and identify potential requirements and impacts (e.g. Electrostatic Discharge ESD hazardous material OSHA EHS).
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Experience working in a warehouse or warehouse environment.
Knowledge of common warehouse technology its purposes and uses.
Knowledge of warehouse equipment its purposes and uses.

1 or more years of experience working in a warehouse or warehouse environment.
