Job Description

The Director Segment FP&A will be responsible for global FP&A processes across all divisions/regions and partner closely with Segment and Divisional leadership teams to provide key analyses recommendations and tracking of both short term and longterm strategic initiatives operational improvement projects and other business priorities. This role will partner closely with the finance teams across our Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) segment to identify and drive efficiency improvement projects for reporting and forecasting and the enhancement of systems and tools to enable insightful business analysis. The Director Segment FP&A will oversee two FP&A reports and will collaborate with Divisional FP&A teams. This position requires a hands on person who is detail oriented and results driven and will serve as a trusted business partner for PES Senior leadership. The individual will have visibility to executive leadership throughout the Company which combined with the wide business perspective offered by this roll will benefit from an accelerated career path.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Monthly and Quarterly forecasting Annual Operating plan and Long Range Planning process with focus on standard work and improved efficiency/accuracy
  • Critically review Divisional forecasting submissions for accuracy and consistency taking into account both internal product life cycle planning and business reorganization and external market and regulatory events
  • Provide key analyses and recommendations on strategic and other executive projects with adhoc reports that enables business assessments at a glance and support strategic decision making.
  • Conduct research analysis and present findings of operational improvement opportunities in areas such as Business Growth Operations performance Production Footprint analysis Capital investment and rate of return Working Capital opportunities and Profitability improvement
  • Actively engage and drive project to meet Strategic and Operational objectives as part of a project team supporting with business acumen and both financial and operational analysis and reporting
  • Providing guidance and support across the Segment finance organization on how to improve effectiveness and develop the framework for FP&A that enables standard work timely and accurate reporting and improved forecasting quality
  • With a continuous improvement mindset and ability to influence identify opportunities for system enhancements and technology adoption that leverages process automation machine learning and AI across the finance function and wider organization
  • Support M&A related financial requirements and/or external market analysis

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree and/or a CPA is strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant and progressive accounting/finance experience within a global manufacturing organization.
  • Excellent communication skills; Effectively Interacts at all levels of the organization with ability to influence resources outside ones direct responsibility.
  • Strong analysis skills to identify high level business and operational trends with ability to review transactional detail (as needed) to support problem solving.
  • Create a work environment with high standards of performance but where team members feel engaged and supported
  • Motivated by and thrives in a fastpaced environment with ability to assess and effectively rank priorities to allocate resources to highest impact objectives.
  • Proven ability to be hands on roll up sleeves and demonstrate resourcefulness initiative resultsorientation. Has a mindset of continuous improvement and can embrace Regal Rexnords 80/20 principles.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems; experience with Oracle SAP Hyperion and/or OneStream is a plus. Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
  • Ability to work across cultures and functions seamlessly.
