Job Description
If you are a Mammography Technologist looking to make a difference in patient care we welcome you to be a part of our team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in WinstonSalem NC.
What You Will Do:
Performs diagnostic radiology and mammography procedures by utilizing equipment and employing techniques and procedures that are appropriate to the entire span of ages served in accordance with accepted standards of practice and demonstrating expertise in limiting radiation exposure to patients and other members of the health care team.
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: 36 hours per week days
- Location: Comprehensive Cancer Center in WinstonSalem NC and may rotate to Medical PlazaClemmons in Clemmons NC and Downtown Health Plaza in WinstonSalem NC
What You Will Need:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and Mammography or registry eligible.
- Current BLS certification.
Skills for Success:
- Ability to maintain daily schedules
- Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians nurses and other ancillary professional staff when discussing procedures and patients care
- Clinical skills to enable recognition and function accordingly in relation to priorities of patient needs
