Job Description
Quality Staffing Inc. also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search a leading fullservice employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the areas top companies is looking for an experienced Programmer/Analyst 3to work through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation (TN EC) located in Nashville TN.This is a remote position working from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Fridayfor a total of 37.5 hours. The pay rate for this position is $57.00 per hour.
Duties and Responsibilities for Programmer/Analyst 3 position:
- Analyze functional business requirements and design specifications for developing programs for desktop and distributed environments which include personal computers client server environments and browserbased or ntier environments.
- Translate detailed design into computer software.
- Test debug and refine the computer software to produce the required product.
- Prepare required documentation including both programlevel and userlevel documentation.
- Enhance software to reduce operating time or to improve efficiency.
Education and Experience Requirements for Programmer/Analyst 3 position:
- Requires a minimum of one 1 year of current experience in this job class.
- Primary skill sets required include:
- Knowledge of SOLARIS and Windows operating systems
- Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and Oracle Internet Development tools
- Visual Basic Java and .NET programming languages
- Visual Basic Script JavaScript JSPs EJBs XML and HTML
- Secondary skill sets required include:
- Knowledge of Microsofts Internet Information Server (IIS) Secure Socket Layers (SSL) to provide the functionality of encryption and decryption of data
- Object Oriented and UML methodologies
- Knowledge of other State software standards for desktop and distributed systems
- Minimum of five 5 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL and a relational database such as Oracle 19g.
- Experience in writing complex SQL and PL/SQL queries including the development of store procedures functions and triggers.
- Experience designing developing troubleshooting and providing customer support for custom developed webbased application.
- MUST be local to the Nashville area
