Job Description

The Department of World Languages Literatures & Cultures at High Point University is accepting applications for adjunct instructors to teach introductory courses in Italian starting from August 2025. Responsibilities include course preparation meeting with students during office hours and communicating with students outside of class via Blackboard email or telephone.

Qualifications

Education:

A masters degree in Italian language literature teaching or a related field
Nearnative fluency in English and Italian

Experience/Training:

Collegelevel teaching experience is required.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience using technology in and out of the classroom and a studentcentered communicativebased teaching philosophy.
Evidence of successful teaching is also desirable.
