Job Description
Entity/Organization: MUHA (Medical University Hospital Authority/Medical Center)
FLSA Status: Hourly
Hours Per Week:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS). SCRQSA Certification required. Should be actively enrolled in an accredited Ultrasound program.
Required Licensure Certifications Registrations:
Basic Life Support required upon hire. Thereafter must maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Ultrasound Student Technologist transition to Ultrasound Technologist I
Upon completion of the certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) a promotion will be awarded from a student tech position to a vacant ultrasound technologist position. The promotion wage increase will be based on passing the ultrasound tech registry. Benefits and sign on bonus will also be awarded if eligible based on position.

NOTE: The following descriptions are applicable to this section: 1 Continuous 68 hours per shift; 2 Frequent 26 hours per shift; 3 Infrequent 02 hours per shift)
