Senior Estimator MultiFamily Construction
Location: Virginia Beach VA
FullTime: $100 000 $120 000 willing to consider more for the right candidate Growth Opportunity
Are you an experienced construction estimator with a passion for multifamily projects and a talent for building accurate strategic budgets Were looking for a Senior Estimator to join our growing team and help shape successful developments from the ground up.
In this role youll lead the preconstruction process from conceptual estimating to bid packaging ensuring that projects are thoroughly planned competitively priced and set up for success. Youll collaborate with internal teams clients and trade partners to deliver exceptional results in a fastpaced teamdriven environment.
What Youll Do:
- Lead the estimating process for assigned projects preparing detailed cost estimates at all design phases
- Develop cost models and pricing strategies to support informed decisionmaking
- Solicit review and analyze subcontractor and vendor bids
- Collaborate with project managers designers and executives to align estimates with project goals
- Identify risks and coordinate preconstruction reviews with leadership
- Assemble bid packages and preconstruction presentations for clients
- Support the transition from preconstruction to construction by sharing insights and lessons learned
- Stay current on market trends costs and innovations in materials and construction methods
- Help grow our network of qualified subcontractors and suppliers
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to ongoing process improvements
What Were Looking For:
- 5 years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction estimating
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of budgeting bidding scheduling and construction practices
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Project; familiarity with estimating software like PlanSwift SmartBid or AutoDesk Takeoff is a plus
- Excellent communication problemsolving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines

Location & Travel:
Based in Virginia Beach with occasional travel to project sites and client meetings across the region.
