This Brisbane or Bankstown Sydney based Quality and Safety Manager Rotary role is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the effective management of quality safety and environmental imperatives for our Rotary Contracts. The role involves leading a team of quality and safety professionals driving system and process excellence and ensuring the continuous improvement of the organisations integrated safety quality and environmental management framework.
You will lead coach and mentor a team of Quality and Safety professionals to deliver customerfocused valueadding solutions whilst implementing and maintaining quality safety and environmental processes for Rotary Wing Contracts.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Manage and respond to quality safety and environmental risks and hazards.
Oversee corrective action responses to process deficiencies and ensure timely resolutions.
Facilitate Safety Action Group Meetings and Safety Quality and Environment Oversight Committee Meetings.
Perform investigations root cause analysis and audits.
Guide leadership on risk treatment and corrective actions.
Manage the organisations Document Control System and external audits.
Lead key functional initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Prerequisites:
Proven experience in leading safety and quality teams.
Proven experience in quality/safety/environment management in support of Aviation flight and maintenance operations.
Extensive knowledge of CASA Part 119/145 Safety Management Systems ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Proven experience leading investigations audits and external audit coordination.
Ability to hold an ADF Security Clearance.
Experience in developing and facilitating quality and safety training.
To be a success in this role you will possess:
Lead Auditor qualification.
Aviation safety investigation qualification.
Aviation Safety Management System qualification.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Visio.

Strong communication planning and organisational skills.
Solutionfocused with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
