Job Title: Elementary Academic Intervention Teacher
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Elementary Intervention Teacher to join ourdynamic educational team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting studentswho require additionalEnglish Language Artsand math intervention at the elementary level. The primaryresponsibilities include collecting and analyzing data implementing targeted interventions andcollaborating with classroom teachers to promote effective strategies for tier two students intheir regular classrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students in need of intervention.
- Regularly collect and analyze student performance data to track progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Utilize assessment results to inform instructional planning and decisionmaking.
- Individual and Small Group Intervention:
- Develop and implement evidencebased interventions tailored to the specific needs of tier two students.
- Provide oneonone or small group instruction to students requiring additional support.
- Monitor and document individual student progress through ongoing assessment.
- Collaboration with Classroom Teachers:
- Consult with classroom teachers to identify students who may benefit from tier two interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement differentiated instructional strategies within the regular classroom setting.
- Share data and progress reports with classroom teachers to foster a collaborative and cohesive approach to student success.
- Participate as a member of the site CARE team to prioritize and recommend students for intervention services.
- Professional Development and Training:
- Stay current with researchbased practices in math and reading intervention and instruction.
- Provide guidance and training to classroom teachers on effective strategies for working with
- tier two students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and professional learning community.
- Participate in site and district wide training to align with literacy initiatives.
- 5. Parental Communication:
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress and strategies
- for continued support at home.

- fostering reading success.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education or related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification.
- Proven experience in conducting assessments and analyzing data.
- Strong understanding of evidencebased reading interventions and instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students teachers and parents.

- Bilingual Spanish Farsi Pashto
- Specialization or certification in reading intervention or literacy education.
