About the Role
Our Tech Hub team is expanding and were looking for a Solution Architect Application & Integration to join our vast community of solvers. The Tech Hub team brings our purpose to life by enabling our companys businesses to achieve their technologydriven goals. The work undertaken in Tech Hub covers a range of areas from leading and supporting the company through to the build or adoption of new technology to protecting against risk and delivering valuable data insights that transform our technology capabilities.
Solution Architects support the definition and management of architectural changes forspecific engagements of work defined by the business and platform areas in alignment totheir requirements.
As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for designing and implementing IT solutionsthat meet the organisations goals and objectives. You will work closely with business and ITleaders to ensure that the solutions are aligned with the business strategy
Youll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:
- Providing relevant tertiary qualifications as well as extensive experience in solution architecture within complex enterprise environments
- Demonstrating proven experience in designing and implementing enterpriselevel solutions across diverse architecture domains such as application data integration infrastructure and security architecture
- Demonstrating strong understanding of system integration and interoperability IT infrastructure and software development practices
- Understanding and experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud)
- Demonstrating familiarity with architecture governance processes and architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
- Demonstrating strong presentation abilities to effectively convey complex technical concepts in a clear concise manner to stakeholders at various levels
- Demonstrating ability to drive technology initiatives by leading architecture discussion and decisions
- Understanding and experience in creating and maintaining comprehensive architecture documentation
- Understanding and experience being a first level operational Team Leader with full responsibility for other team members to deliver results
In our Tech Hub team your impact will be seen by:
- Leading the design and development of solution architectures to support the implementation of key initiatives
- Collaborating with business and IT leaders to ensure solutions meet business goals
- Ensuring architectural solutions are scalable and sustainable
- Facilitating and managing the delivery of the architecture deliverables through the governance processes as defined within the broader enterprise
- Providing guidance and support to junior Solution Architects
