Do you want to play an important role in transforming how cars are traded in the future
For our AutoProff team we are looking for a new colleague to join us in this newly created role as Automotive Auction Specialist (m/f/d) for Italy. The position will be based at our office in Padova.
We are the emerging European leader in digital dealertodealer trading. AutoProff was established in 2013 to digitize B2B vehicle trading helping car dealers grow sales and improve profits from used car trading.

About the role
On AutoProff many cars are published every day from Italian dealers. And traded across EU. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring auctions and platform success.
You will be working in team with Sales and Customer Support to ensure one voice approach to the customers.
Lets dive into your key responsibilities
- Be a point of reference for our customers all along the way during the auction process.
- Ensure that auction prices and guaranteed prices are defined as quickly and accurately as possible for the best success of the platform.
- Daily monitor the progress of the auctions in order to optimize transactions on the platform.
- Work in Team with your Digital Car Trading Specialist teammates to ensure you do achieve together challenging operational targets # of cars on auction # of cars sold of Sales Rate # of bids etc..
- Support and manage customer complaints in coordination and collaboration with the various Teams involved.
The needtohave skills
- Knowledge of the automotive market (makes models prices etc..
- Preferred background in the Automotive market (dealerships or automakers or consulting firms specializing in the field).
- Strong and proven analytical and data management skills.
- A systematic and analytical approach to problemsolving.
- Used to work with digital tools and great ability to quickly get acquainted with new systems.
- Good time management skills and strong propensity for teamwork.
- Good communication skills and fluent in English
- Really enjoy championing a truly productive team spirit

- Have previous experience in customer facing operational roles.
