Join our outstanding Hackney school and nurture the musical talents of our students!
Our highachieving school in Hackney is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Music Teacher to join our vibrant arts faculty. You will play a key role in developing students musical skills confidence and appreciation for the power of music.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Music lessons across Key Stages 34 (and potentially KS5.
- Plan and implement a comprehensive and progressive Music curriculum.
- Develop students performance composition and analytical skills in music.
- Encourage participation in musical ensembles and performances.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to express themselves musically.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Music or a related field.
- Experience teaching Music at secondary level (ECTs encouraged to apply).
- Strong musical performance skills on at least one instrument.
- A good understanding of music theory and history.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
