Your Role as a Chemistry Teacher

  • Deliver HighQuality Lessons Teach Chemistry to students across Key Stages 3 4 and potentially 5 using engaging strategies to promote understanding and enthusiasm for the subject.

  • Bring Chemistry to Life Plan and lead practical experiments that connect scientific concepts to realworld contexts making lessons both exciting and educational.

  • Shape the Curriculum As a valued Chemistry Teacher youll contribute to developing and refining our Chemistry curriculum to ensure it remains ambitious inclusive and inspiring.

  • Foster Student Success Use data effectively to track progress and personalise support helping students reach their academic goals in Chemistry.

  • Lead and Support Enrichment From chemistry clubs to school science events and trips youll play a role in extending students learning beyond the classroom.

What Were Looking For

  • A qualified Chemistry Teacher with QTS and a relevant degree.

  • Experience teaching Chemistry to students aged 1116 (and ideally to Key Stage 5.

  • A Chemistry Teacher who is passionate creative and dedicated to delivering excellent science education.

  • A reflective practitioner with a desire to grow professionally and contribute positively to school life.

  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to student wellbeing and success.
