Key Responsibilities:
Ensure full compliance with safety standards and actively promote a positive safety culture across the organization.
Prepare accurate monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Review and submit quarterly tax returns and assist with financial audits as needed.
Maintain and renew periodic state license registrations.
Supervise mentor and develop the accounting team ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.
Manage monthend and yearend closing processes including reconciliations and financial analysis.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed financial reporting and insights.
Utilize Sage and Excel to manage projectbased accounting activities effectively.
Collaborate with operational leadership to align financial processes with project goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree or college diploma in Accounting Finance or a related field is required.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant financial experience including in a supervisory role.
Background in construction or projectbased accounting is strongly preferred.
Advanced proficiency with Excel and Sage accounting software.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problemsolving skills.
CPA designation (U.S. Certified Public Accountant or Canadian Certified Professional Accountant) preferred.
Ability to work extended hours during monthend closings audits and budget planning periods.

Education
3+ years of relevant financial experience, including supervisory roles. College diploma or bachelor s degree in a related field.
