Job Description
Whether youre experienced in the Education or childcare sector have done some babysitting this is the first time youre thinking about working with children or anything in between THIS is the role for you!
Our service at Sherwood Ridge Kellyville is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engagement programs for our primaryage children. This is a Permanent Part time opportunity offering 30 hours per week to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators. The hours are Monday Friday 7:00am9:00am & 2:45pm6:00pm on the floor and with some admin hours to assist the coordinator.
About the role
Comanaging a team of Educators youll have the perfect balance of support and leadership opportunities. You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 512 years with the support of a state specific office plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
- Develop and facilitate an engaging childcentered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM sport cooking art and craft whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children the school community and parents
- Lead a team of Educators onsite including roster management
- Manage the daytoday operations of your service including compliance and administration

- Strong and clear communication
- Team player with a desire to become a service leader
- Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (well pay for it! and a state check for working with children
