An Operations and Maintenance Planning Assistant position assists in planning scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the efficient and effective operation of facilities and equipment. This role supports the maintenance department by managing work requests creating work orders and maintaining parts inventory. They also play a crucial role in communicating with other departments to ensure that maintenance tasks are prioritized and completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications :
- Provide operations and aircraft maintenance to 492 SOW JPG to facilitate Ops/Mx specific requirements for new power projection Squadrons relocation and transition of the 492 SOW from Northwest Florida to Davis Monthan AFB AZ.
- Conduct Ops/Mx specific research analysis and development of Winglevel planning implementation of policy and of plans functions providing direct operations/maintenance support to the Wing A3 and coordinating efforts across the 1 SOW 24 SOW and 27 SOW Headquarters AFSOC and other AF elements necessary to meet objectives.
- Assist in the development of Planning Orders on behalf of the Wing and subordinate Wing units and of organizational plans and program objectives supporting current and future operations to include classified Operational Plans and Continuity of Operations Plans.
- Conduct crossfunctional coordination with Wing administrative intelligence mission support logistics and communications planners to ensure smooth transition of each enumerated squadron and associated equipment and personnel tasked to realign under the 492 SOW.
- Prepare reports and presentations (Bullet Background papers Point Papers Power Point slide shows) as necessary on 492 SOW taskers associated with strategic force posturing and deployment decisions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five 5 years of demonstrated experience in operations and maintenance planning
Note: A bachelors degree in business may be substituted for four 4 years of experience in facility management.
- Current SECRET security clearance
