Southwest General Health Center is a 352bed community hospital located in Middleburg Heights Ohio. CLINICAL MANAGER HOME HEALTH

Southwest General offers home healthcare services in northern Medina southwestern Cuyahoga and eastern Lorain counties. Our Home Health team offers services such as home infusion nursing and nurse aide services newborn home visits social services and occupational physical and speech therapy.


POSITION SUMMARY:
The Home Health Clinical Manager is responsible for all facets of daily operations. Expertise in regulatory requirements and OASIS is required. Prefer experience with Allscripts EMR. Directs coordinates and evaluates the delivery of home health care and services. Maintains the successful achievement of the agencys mission goals and objectives. Responsible for the daily operations of the clinical and support services for the Home Health Department. The Clinical Manager is responsible for the development coordination and monitoring of activities that promote clinically effective efficient and costeffective patient care. Responsible for the planning organization and direction of patient care activities in the Home Health Department. Demonstrates leadership competencies and values through development and coaching of direct reports. Promotes succession planning. Monitors and promotes employee retention recruitment and satisfaction. Consults and collaborates with other health care team members to provide safe appropriate patient care. Ensures a culture of accountability. Demonstrates the ability to problem solve. Leads by vision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program. Bachelors degree.

Required length of experience:
Five 5 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting with three 3 years successful experience in a leadership position.

Required licensure certification and/or registry:
Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
CPR BLS required.

Special Qualifications:
Demonstrates effective problemsolving/decisionmaking abilities. Demonstrates the ability to plan and prioritize with excellent time management skills. Performs with initiative and innovation. Knowledge of practice requirements for RN and LPN as mandated by the Nurse Practice Act. Knowledge of regulatory and governing bodies standards.
