DescriptionOverview:We are looking to hire a Senior Technical HSE Engineer for a national oil and gas operator in Doha must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant post graduate experience of which 6 years should be related to Oil & Gas in English is a Responsibilities:Provide technical design and engineering services in Technical HSE Engineering for all assigned engineering projects Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with client procedures whilst considering quality schedule cost and HSEConduct Technical HSE Engineering activities and inhouse site surveys for projects from initial concept definition phase through to; engineering studies FEED detailed design and commissioningEnsure the required client technical assurance practices engineering standards environmental and safety policies are incorporated and followed in workscopes and whilst conducting Technical HSE Engineering activities Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines codes standards and practicesSupport Engineering Department to review update and apply client standards and clients amendments to external standardsPlan and coordinate activities of a team of multidiscipline engineers for providing timely delivery of technical services to meet the project requirementsCoordinate engineering designs develop and review multidisciplinary workscopes for projects and other engineering activities Ensure the workscope is comprehensive and clearReview and approve method statements developed by contracted organisations for scope compliance Liaise with contracted organisations to resolve technical issuesDevelop update and monitor schedules for inhouse engineering activities contribute to external FEED/EPIC scheduling activities and effective project deliveryConduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope complianceReview and evaluate the Contract Changes/Variation to approved guidelines and practicesSupport the development of personal technical competency and skills and those of Coworkers Participate in structured training for Associate EngineersRequirements:Bachelors degree in Chemical or Mechanical EngineeringChartered/Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferable10 years of relevant post graduate experience of which 6 years should be related to Oil & Gas industryAbility to identify and utilise relevant engineering standards and Codes related to Technical HSE EngineeringProven ability to manage time cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environmentFluency in English language with good verbal and writing communication skills and proficiency for conducting presentations Where are you locatedWhats your nationalityWhat is your notice period; when can you engage this jobPlease only apply and press yes if you have read the requirements education experience and certifications and match Qatar
