If you have valid QID and are Qatar resident press NO when asked for :We are looking to hire a Diving Superintendent for a national oil and gas operator in Doha must have a minimum of 1015 years experience in offshore construction/installation/diving out of which 8 years in the oil & gas in English is a Responsibilities:Overall responsible for diving activities including vessel deployment preceding and during diving deployment onboard the vesselReview comment and approve contractorsubmitted procedures dive plans and method statements and provide input when reviewing or developing new work instructions and proceduresEnsure that the work is carried out safely and in compliance with the scope of works approved engineering standards client regulations and specifications and IMCA standardsMonitor Control and supervise all diving activities onboard the DSV vessel representing the client project department assigned projects offshoreCoordinate with marine (dive boat section) and manage all inspections of dive boats diving spread IMCA audit/inspection punch list closeout and finally ensure that the dive vessels and the diving spread are mobilized in full compliance with client regulations international standards and IMCA guidelinesEnsure the issue of Daily Progress Reports (DPR) to projects highlighting the daily activities and areas of concern and propose mitigation measuresEnsure diving operations are carried out from a suitable and safe location on the surface and in compliance with the Air and Nitrox Dive Manual The Diving Project Plan and any permittowork systemEnsure that Safety Meetings and Risk Assessments are held and documented regularly Participate actively in the preparation of JSAs MOCs and daily progress meetingsEnsure that all Hazard Observations Safe Act Unsafe Act & Conditions Near Misses & Incidents are reportedProactive with safety while performing site construction/installation/diving activities in live plant and ensuring site compliance with statutory safety and environmental regulationsUnder the general supervision of the Head Construction and/or client Representative make the decisions on the project issues within the framework of respective contract documents and procedures/guidelines in close coordination and concurrence with the Project TeamAccountable for efficiently managing all diving activitiesFrequent long working hours may be required including outdoor field workExposed to multidisciplinary multicultural environment requiring special management skills Management of sound interpersonal relationships and effective communication within client and Contractor TeamsRequirements:Higher National Certificate (HNC) (or) Diploma (or) relevant Apprentice from recognized universities with extensive offshore installation/diving experience Diploma qualification is not mandatory if the candidate has any one of the following certificates: IMCA Closed Bell Diver IMCA Air Diving Supervisor IMCA Bell/Saturation Diving Supervisor (Class III) NDT Operator level2 (Optional)Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in offshore construction/installation/diving out of which 8 years in the oil & gas industryOffshore Air Diving and Saturation Diving Supervisor experienceShould have the following additional qualification: IMCA Closed Bell Diver IMCA Air Diving Supervisor IMCA Bell/Saturation Diving Supervisor (Class III)NDT Operator level2 (Optional) Handson experience on the following is preferablePrevious experience as a Diving Representative would be an added advantageBoat Landing ReplacementRiser JTube Installation and Subsea spool tieinUmbilical installation including ITubesWater Jetting Removal of Debris and marine growth from Jackets and other subsea assetsSpool and PLEM Tiein with ROV simultaneous operationPipelay and Jackets InstallationRemoval of redundant riser and pipelines from SeabedAbility to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems related to diving activities and suggest solutionsGood communication and reportwriting skills RequirementsWhere are you locatedWhats your nationalityWhat is your expected salary for this jobWhat is your notice period; when can you engage this jobPlease only apply and press yes if you have read the requirements education experience and certifications and match application wont be accepted if nationality is Iran Iraq Sudan Egypt Israel Congo Afghanistan Libya.
