Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and wellstructured Geography lessons across Key Stages 34 (and potentially KS5.
- Inspire students to achieve their full potential in Geography and develop a deep understanding of the world around them.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the geographical opportunities and outcomes for students.
- Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of student progress in Geography and the impact of departmental initiatives.
- TLR opportunities may be available in areas such as leading assessment data analysis mentoring less experienced geography staff or leading specific projects to raise attainment in Geography.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Geography or a closely related field.
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
- Strong subject knowledge across physical and human geography with a focus on achieving high standards.
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate students to achieve geographical excellence.
- A desire to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to leadership within the Geography department and the pursuit of academic excellence (for TLR consideration).
