Job Description
The Amazon Advertising team seeks a highly motivated Finance Manager to support our efforts to generate worldwide Ads demand while helping Amazon sellers leverage our global advertising solutions to optimize sales of their products all over the world. As a Finance Manager you will closely work with business and finance leaders to develop financial models for both short and longterm business and financial goals evaluate new business opportunities and drive strategic business initiatives to support demand growth. Additional responsibilities include weekly monthly and quarterly reporting of financial performance and adhoc business analysis support. This role requires a selfstarter with strong financial modeling abilities problem solving skills a keen attention to detail and ability to divedeep and someone that thrives in a fastpaced environment with ambiguous situations.
The successful candidate will have shown experiences in past roles influencing business owners and supporting decisionmaking in rapidly evolving environments. This role also has regular interaction with executives and various business units across Amazon and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. In addition this role requires strong business sense and capability to independently drive business partnership. Experience with big data using scalable analytics tools are a must.
Key job responsibilities
Manage the financial planning process for both short term and long term. Model analyze and forecast metrics that drive demand growth and free cash flow.
Provide weekly/monthly financial reporting on the performance of the business to assist in the creation of Business Reviews.
Identify and create business metrics to understand the operational and financial health of the business and drive improvement.
Develop quantitative models necessary for evaluation and implementation of new initiatives.
Partner closely with business leaders to provide financial analysis to drive business growth and perform adhoc projects and analysis as needed.
Analyze and test alternatives to continually refine our thinking on driving incremental Ads revenue.

This Finance Manager will be working directly with business leaders to provide insightful financial analysis generate business review reports and influence business decisions. In addition you will also be working on impact assessment of new initiatives thus having a direct impact on the business.
About the team
The broader Amazon Ads Marketing Finance team works closely with Ads Marketing to analyze advertiser insights validate financial return on investments and business growth initiatives and drive controllership across the organization.
5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
4 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decisionmaking experience
Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science)
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience delivering results for large crossfunctional initiatives/projects
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
