Were seeking an experienced brand and communications leader to drive strategic initiatives across Shopbop and Zappos. This senior leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies that enhance both brands market position partnerships and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary architect of our brand narrative managing external partnerships communications and strategic initiatives while providing counsel to senior leadership. This role offers the unique opportunity to drive brand awareness and growth of two distinct brands within the Amazon family of companies.
Key job responsibilities Develop and execute vendorfunded activations strategy for Zappos including production brand partnerships management and reporting Support and contribute to Zappos exclusive brand capsule initiatives with toptier partners to drive customer excitement and support new brand acquisition strategy Oversee sustainability initiatives for Zappos and integrations in partnership with Amazon partner teams (e.g. The Climate Pledge) Develop and execute sports partnership initiatives for Zappos to expand audience reach Lead initiatives to grow Zappos Kids business through strategic brand and external partnerships Manage internal communications strategy and across both brands Develop and execute communications plans aligned with business objectives for both Shopbop and Zappos Lead and manage relationships with external communications agencies ensuring consistent messaging Coordinate with Amazon PR to provide strategic communications counsel to senior leadership teams across both brands Create and maintain crisis management playbooks and lead rapid response efforts during sensitive situations in partnership with Amazon PR partners Build and maintain relationships with key industry influencers and stakeholders
6 years of professional noninternship marketing experience Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements Experience building executing and scaling crossfunctional marketing programs Experience communicating results to senior leadership Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events webinars email lead nurture programs and CRM/sales insights Experience with Salesforce and Tableau
