Job Description
Amalgamated Bank is looking for a Product Analyst to join the Product Team. This position serves a critical role in optimizing product economics support key product initiatives conduct research and analyze data to drive product excellence. In addition this person will be the subject matter expert (SME) for all product related data and KPIs for senior management consumption. This position will report to the Director of Product Management.

Essential Job Functions:
- Build business cases and analyze product economics to optimize profitability
- Support key product launch and implementation
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify opportunity
- Conduct client research to identify key client painpoints
- Provide analytical support and develop monthly reports on product performance using various volume revenue and cost metrics
- Extract and leverage data sources from various systems to perform data validation on monthly product data and if necessary liaise with product stakeholders to ensure data integrity
- Automate routine reports to improve efficiency
- Review data and information to identify key trends and area for improvment
- Liaise between Relationship Management team and external stakeholders to support client onboarding for various treasury products
- Work on various revenue and billing analysis exercises to improve income ratios across the product suite
- Assist with various product related initiatives including but not limited to repricing analysis collateral material product campaigns etc.
- Provide accurate ad hoc reporting when requested by business line and product management stakeholders
- Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in billing maintain rules within a logicbased billing system to ensure sound billing logic and review monthly billing
- Provide client product support as needed
Knowledge Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree preferably in Economics Business Administration or Finance
- Minimum 2 years of banking experience or relevant internship experience
- Strong analytical approach comfortable with numbers and ability to draw conclusions and insight as well as provide recommendations based on analysis
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects managing timelines and key updates to stakeholders
- Basic understand of Banking Products and Services preferred
- Ability to adapt well in fastpaced environment and comfortable working in a growing department and role
- Technical Skills: Intermediate Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables conditionals data models vlookup INDEXMATCH etc. required familiarity in database querying (SQL Power BI) preferred
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base salary for this role is between $77000.00 $87000.00. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors such as: training transferrable skills work experience business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
