You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailDevelop supervise and evaluate implementation of activities experiences and mandatory services meant to achieve the objectives of the Upward Bound Classic project grant. Responsible for the daytoday operations including monitoring the budget direct supervision of academic advisors and project secretary and establishing relationships with target school principals and counselors.
Essential Functions:
25 Supervise and assist with recruitment of participants in compliance with federal regulations; develop experiences activities and services to meet grant objectives.
25 Serve as liaison to school principals and counselors; supervise school visits made by Academic Adviser. Evaluate progress made toward accomplishing grant objectives.
25 Monitor budget and oversee all expenditures for accuracy and as allowable and allocable according to federal regulations.
25 Overall management and reporting of progress related to the program personnel and participants.
Required Qualifications: Masters Degree in a related field such as secondary education higher education or counseling required. Experience in program administration working knowledge of curriculum planning and development.
Requires a minimum of 2 years academic counseling experience with excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to develop and evaluate program activities and provide academic counseling to program participants/or prospective University students required.
Leadership: Direct supervision and evaluation of work as a firstline supervisor over nonexempt staff including hiring terminating disciplining; or functional guidance and/or project leadership over exempt staff engaged in activities of a recurring basis.
