What Youll Do:
- Be a Trusted Caregiver: Provide supervision and assist residents with daily living activities like personal hygiene grooming and medication administration.
- Respond with Care: Monitor and address any medical or behavioral needs with compassion and professionalism following established protocols.
- Create a Positive Environment: Foster a warm encouraging atmosphere by promoting social interaction participation in fun activities and skillbuilding opportunities.
- Stay Organized: Keep detailed records of your observations incidents and interventions to ensure our residents receive the best care possible.
- Work as a Team: Collaborate with case managers healthcare professionals and family members to deliver coordinated comprehensive care.
- Maintain Comfort: Ensure the living environment is clean safe and welcoming by performing light housekeeping duties and regular safety checks.

Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience working with individuals with IDD or in a caregiving role is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
- A calm patient and empathetic demeanor especially in challenging situations.
- A basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures with a willingness to learn and follow healthcare protocols.
